Sito grows with your child

Sito's Allergen Ladder for Olivia: 4 of 9 allergens introduced, with egg, peanut, milk and wheat kept up.

The Allergen Ladder

4 months to 2 years

With a check-in after each one

Until their second birthday the Allergen Ladder stays open: 9 common allergens, one at a time, with a check-in after each. Blue means they had it in the last 7 days; orange means it is time to offer it again.

Questions

Toddlers and Sito

Until what age does Sito show how to cut food?

Until 4. Each of 583 foods shows the right shape and size for your child's age, from strips to quartered pieces. Choking hazards are flagged until age 4, whole nuts until 5. When you log a meal, a short line reminds you how to serve the foods that still need it.

Does Sito count calories for toddlers?

Yes, calories are there, next to iron, calcium, zinc, vitamin D, fiber, added sugars and the rest of the 18 nutrients we track. Toddler appetites swing a lot from day to day, so the app also shows a 7-day average.

My toddler is a picky eater. Can Sito help?

Ask our assistant. It knows what your child has actually eaten this week, so when you ask how to get fiber into someone who refuses vegetables, the answer is about your child rather than about children in general.

Can I use Sito for a toddler and a baby at the same time?

Yes. Each child gets their own profile, and the app shows each one what fits their age: Starting Solids and the Allergen Ladder for the baby, meals and nutrients for the toddler. Both parents can share the same account.

Is Sito medical advice?

No. Sito is a guide, not medical advice. You decide what your child eats, and your child's doctor has the final word.
